The Afghanistan Initiative is dedicated to assisting Afghan refugees as they rebuild their lives in America while advocating for the allies who remain trapped in Afghanistan.
After the fall of Kabul, thousands of Afghan interpreters, military partners, and their families were forced to flee or were left behind, facing grave danger due to their service alongside U.S. forces. Our initiative aims to provide support, resources, and advocacy to ensure they receive the help they need.
Why This Matters
Afghan refugees arriving in the U.S. face significant challenges, including language barriers, cultural differences, financial struggles, and difficulty securing employment. At the same time, many of our allies remain in Afghanistan, at risk of persecution and harm. These individuals risked their lives to support U.S. and coalition forces, and it is our duty to ensure they are not forgotten.
Developing the Afghanistan Initiative: Our Ongoing Efforts
The Afghanistan Initiative is actively growing to address the urgent needs of Afghan refugees in the U.S. while advocating for those still trapped in Afghanistan. Our approach is strategic and action-driven, ensuring that both immediate humanitarian needs and long-term resettlement challenges are met.

OUR CURRENT AIM
Refugee Support & Resettlement Assistance – We are working with community partners to help newly arrived Afghan refugees find housing, employment, and legal resources. Our team is providing English language classes, cultural orientation, and mentorship programs to ease the transition into American society.
Advocacy for Allies – We are actively engaging with policymakers, veteran groups, and humanitarian organizations to push for pathways to safety for our most vetted and trusted allies.
