About the event
Our first group discussion will take place on Thursday, October 23, at 8:00 p.m. (EST) via Google Meet. The meeting link will be sent by email to all registered participants prior to the event.
This discussion is open to all who have served—military, firefighters, law enforcement, and corrections—as well as the families and friends who stand beside them.
Reading Schedule
October – Introduction & Chapters 1–2 The Roots of Moral Injury — exploring the betrayal of “what’s right” and the breakdown of trust in leadership.
November – Chapters 3–4 The Cost of Betrayal — examining the emotional aftermath, loss of belonging, and the process of rebuilding connection.
December – Chapters 5–6 & Epilogue The Path Toward Repair — understanding how storytelling, trust, and community contribute to moral repair.
