Veterans, Families, and supporters join us on August 23rd for our annual Ruck walk Run and Gathering in rememberance of our fallen 13 and all those impacted by the withdrawal of Afghanistan.

About the event
Saturday, August 23rd, we will be at Surf City Beach at 6am doing a ruck, run, or walk to honor the fallen 13. We will have water points with snacks and electrolytes and will have turn around points depending on the distance you like to go. The different routes will be 5k, 10k and 13 miles.
Parking is available near the Surf City Pier at 200 S Shore Drive, Surf City NC 28445. We’ll be staging at beach access 19 between 5:30am-6am.That evening at 5pm, we invite all HKIA veterans and their families to gather with us at LBC Bottle Shop & Wilmywoodie Pizza.
