TOGETHER WE HOLD THE LINE
OUR STORY

In 2021, amidst a rapidly changing geopolitical landscape, a group of courageous men and women embarked on a mission to safeguard the safety and security of US and European nationals, as well as those who possessed special immigrant visas, in Afghanistan. With the Taliban rapidly sweeping through the rural areas of the country, capturing installations and seizing large caches of weaponry and military hardware, the situation was dire.
As part of Operation Allies Refuge, thousands of US troops and coalition forces deployed to Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul to assist in the evacuation effort. However, the situation quickly escalated, with the city falling to the Taliban and former Afghan military and security personnel fleeing the scene, leaving thousands of desperate civilians to rush to the airport.
Amidst the chaos and volatility of the situation, US and coalition forces maintained security and operated the gates under immense stress. Despite facing continual threats of hostile engagements, these brave men and women maintained a positive influence on every unfolding situation.
Unfortunately, the mission was not without loss. On August 26th, 13 service members were lost in an IED attack on Abbey Gate in HKIA. In their honor, a non-profit foundation was established to provide a place of community and a mission that would honor the those who made the greatest sacrifice. This foundation is dedicated to the men and women who served in HKIA and their families, as well as to the values of courage, honor, and sacrifice that they embody. Join us in our mission to honor these brave individuals by helping veterans heal from the invisible wounds of war and continuing the humanitarian mission.

'Moral Injuries' Healing Program
'So Others May Live' Humanitarian Program
The Moral Injury Healing Program is a specialized initiative designed to address the deep psychological wounds that veterans may experience as a result of their military service. The program is centered around providing a safe and supportive environment where veterans can work through their feelings of guilt, shame, and betrayal, often associated with experiences that conflict with their personal moral code.
OAR Foundation aids US-allies at risk of persecution. Our mission is to provide refuge, uphold values of fairness and human dignity, and empower resettlement and integration into American society. This program not only fosters goodwill and trust with other nations but also recognizes the refugees' potential to contribute to American society. The program is named "So others may live" to symbolize its goal of helping others thrive in adversity. Supporting such initiatives is crucial for the betterment of American society.
